Jan Sigsworth is a sound designer and mixer for film and TV. He also produces music, engineers for artists and releases under his artist name.
Jan has worked on a variety of projects, from albums to podcasts to feature films. He can provide a 5.1 track-lay for a film or help with you with your song or album, from start to finish. Jan has multiple years experience in audio editing, producing and recording.
Jan has a 5.1 studio in Canning Town, London, and also has access to high-end professional dubbing theatres if needed.

Why Me? is a short comedy part of DBK Studios and SKY collaboration to promote upcoming directors and writers. Koby Adom was in charge of the collaboration. I was brought on in during my time at NFTS to mix the short 'Why Me?'.
A commercial for the Skin Taker book. Directed by Xavier Carbo and narrated by Ian McKellen. The commercial was a competition by commercial directing students. I worked as sound designer, editor and dubbing mixer. You can look at my blog post for the BTS.

The Violence Between Us is a documentary about a police squad in Brazil dealing with sexual violence. It was my final documentary at the NFTS. I worked as sound-designer, editor and dubbing mixer. You can watch the trailer here.

Dead Silent is a short animation depicting a man coping with his best friend's suicide. I was responsible for the sound design, edit and mix.

My self-released EP Bath Ritual. Two ambient electronica songs focused around ambient recordings and synths.
Deep Clean
2021
Deep Clean is a short fiction film I worked on while at NFTS. It's a psychological horror, following a cleaner dealing with a mid-life crisis. I worked as sound-designer and editor. Deep clean holds a special place in my heart because it was nominated for best sound at the Fusion International Film Festival Awards.
Płacz Mi W Kark Remix
2022
A remix I made for the Polish band Wolka. I have been making music long before editing/designing sound for multimedia so releasing music has always been exciting. Jakub Duduek, the producer of the duo is a long-time friend and collaborator. He personally asked me to remix the one the songs for the EP.
Forever Flowers

A short LGBTQ horror film set in the UK. I was approached by Jon Solomon, who was looking for sound designers to collaborate with. I was in charge of sound design, audio editing and mixing.
Financial Times - Podcast Mixer
2022 - 2023
I worked for a year at the Financial Times as Podcast Mixer. I would take edited podcasts and mix them to streaming standards (Spotify, Apple Music etc). The main show I worked on was Payne's Politics. I also helped on other shows such as Bachmann Review, The Weekend Show and Money Clinic.
The Licensed Fool

A travelling court jester, known as The Licensed Fool, begins to unravel when he learns of a sinister motive behind him being hired for an upcoming performance. I worked as dialogue editor.
Cinema BASE Commercial

A commercial for the cinema chain BASE. This was my first collaboration with director Sorin. I worked as sound designer, editor and dubbing mixer.

Animozje is Jakub Dudek's second album. I had been collaborating with Jakub before, on his first album as well as side projects. This time however, not only did I have the pleasure of co-writing and producing some songs but mastering the entire album which was a first for me.

The Other Half
2023
The Other Half is a comedy short made by students at Middlesex university. I was brought in late to help with sound editing, ADR and mixing. The final result was great, and the film is nominated for two RTS awards, including best comedy and best sound.

A commercial for the food delivery service HERD. Another collaboration between me and Sorin. I provided sound design, editing and a 5.1/stereo mix.

Mercedes Commercial Re-Sound

A collaboration between me and Jakub Dudek. We both wanted to pursue on a multimedia project using AI but seeing we had no original footage we decided to take an existing video and do a reimagining. All the music is by Jakub, and the SFX by me. The narration is scripted by me and generated by ElevenLabs.

The match between Boxing's World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury and the former UFC-Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou. My friend Oliver Mapp was sound designer and asked me to supervise with sound effects for the track-lay. A Netflix exclusive.
